Football Tournament

Year 10 Leadership students planned and ran the tournament which involved 70 Year 6 pupils.

The games were refereed by Joe Brain (10 MBA) Emma Tilley (10 AWA) and Rob Shields (10 JAY) "The standard of play was very high and all the games were played with sportsmanship". The general organisation of the festival fell upon the shoulders of tournament officials Sammie Lawson and Chris Whittle who recorded results, kept time and set up each game. "All the players really enjoyed themselves and shook hands after each game" - Chris Whittle. The tournament was won by Robins Lane Primary who were undefeated.

The sports event organisers will soon be receiving their Level 2 Sports Leaders UK qualification which is a result of completing more than 50 hours of sports leadership work. We are very proud of what they have accomplished this year. - Mr P. Lane
