KS3 Germany Trip

On Thursday 23 June, 35 Year 7 and 8 students enjoyed a four day visit to Oberursel, Germany.

After a long, but lively journey, they arrived at Haus Heliand late in
the evening and fell straight into bed!  On the Friday it was time to go to the fantastic Holiday Park.  Students were able to ride on the nerve – wrecking GeForce, have a go on the loop the loop roller coaster and free fall tower and also cool down on the water rides. Although it wasn’t as hot as traditionally, students had a fun-filled afternoon at the adventure pool “Seedammbad”. This was after a shopping visit to Bad
Homburg and the opportunity to order a delicious German ice
cream. 

On our final evening we enjoyed a BBQ that was provided by the hostel and then a hilarious quiz which had everybody running around the hostel searching for answers.  Everybody had a fantastic time and we hope to visit again next year.  Miss Blum
