Macmillan Fundraising

On 30th September, the Sixth Form students led the way with a day
dedicated to raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

As well as paying to come into the academy in their own clothes, they also sold lots of cakes and goodies to students and staff. Some of the staff also really got into the spirit of things and took part in a ‘wear something green’ day to raise funds for this really worthy cause. We managed to make just over £270!

A great big thanks to all the staff who donated, and a massive well done to all the Sixth Form students involved.
