National Trampolining Success
18.03.2011Congratulations to Trampolinists Jordan Mayston and Summer Rattigan who represented the academy at the GB Schools Nationals which were held at the Birmingham NEC.
Both had to perform a set routine which all competitors must complete then a vol which is a routine they have personally designed along with the support of their coach Mike Rattigan. They both performed in front of a crowd of several thousand spectators.
Summer who finished 5th with a very tight finish, as only 1 point separated her from 1st place. "I felt wrecked, but I did enjoy it too." - Summer.
Jordan finished 2nd and is amazingly competing in the under 13 category despite being only 11. He has another year left in this age group. "My vol was a little more simple than other competitors but mine was much crisper. When I finished the routine I knew I had done well". - Jordan.
