Primary Sports Days
21.07.2011This year The Sutton Academy has hosted and ran a number of whole
school sports days for our family of primaries.
Schools received coaching before their big days to help the young athletes succeed, this specialist guidance was given by the academies group of dedicated and highly professional Sports Leaders.
The Sports Leaders also took sole responsibility for the events, scoring systems, presentations and the general organisation on the day and were endlessly praised by parents, students and staff alike. "Your young leaders are a credit to you and your school. They had
such a bubbly personality that showed for everyone to see. They supported the children, helped whenever we needed it and always asked if you were ok and if we needed anything else. It was an absolute privilege to have worked with them ALL today." Miss Hodkinson, Eaves Lane Primary School.
Each year the Sports Leaders celebrate all their efforts with a sporting competition followed by a huge picnic, this year its year 9's vs year 10's in an extreme dodgeball match! - Mr Lane
