Sixth Form - Dressing for success
01.08.2010Following the unveiling of the new look for year 7 to 11 we are now able to announce the dress code for sixth form students.
Workshops were held with the current sixth form council where it was decided that a dress code would provide students with a professional identity and important connection to The Sutton Academy.
Students agreed that a dress code, with the flexibility to mix and match some items, rather than a strict uniform, would enable them to have a smart appearance whilst allowing for an aspect of personal style and maturity.
The council decided upon grey or black trousers or skirt with a white or black branded polo shirt or t-shirt, and a black branded zip up top. All the branded items will be pre ordered from the Academy’s uniform supplier and available before the Academy’s opening. A letter regarding ordering and collection will be sent to all students shortly.
