Triathlon Event
12.07.2011On Monday 27th June, a number of students took part in the inaugural Sutton Academy Triathlon event, as part of Lloyds TSB National Sport
Week.
Students from learning communities in Years 7, 8 and 9 competed against each other in swimming, cycling and running. Under a burning sun Athletes dug deep simply to complete the gruelling event and in some cases iron men/women took on two legs of the race for their respective learning communities. Also a huge thank you to the 6th form who volunteered their time to officiate and offer support over the entire course.
