Young Achiever Award

Congratulations to Andrew Cowley who won the 'Young Achiever of the year' at this ears Wish FM hero awards ceremony.

This huge accolade was awarded at a black tie event held at the DW stadium and Andrew's prize was presented by Neil Rimmer ex Wigan and Everton footballer, X-Factor winner Matt Cardle also entertained the huge crowd. Judges admired Andrew's selfless contributions and attitude which include running a disabled sports club at The Sutton
Academy for the past three years. Andrew's grandparents and mum supported him on the evening and were extremely proud of his achievement. He has also been shortlisted to carry the Olympic flame in the run up to London 2012 and is now at Childwall College studying for his level 3 in football studies, all here at Sutton wish him the very best of luck for the future.
