Young Leaders help out at Primary Sports

On Monday 28th May our young sports leaders led Eaves Primary School sports day on our track.

The whole of Eaves Primary School ascended on the academy which turned out to be a perfect day in the sun. Our leaders led events such as 100m, Vortex throw and Caber Toss. The leaders were superb throughout the day which has since been highlighted by the Head Teacher of Eaves Primary.

Highlight of the day was watching the Reception pupils taking part in a relay which took lots of planning and patience, but eventually got underway without any hitches which was excellent.

Our leaders have got a busy few weeks ahead now with a number of other local primaries coming to the academy for their sports days.
