Young Leaders run Athletics Event

On Thursday 2 February, our Year 10 Young Sports Leaders ran an Indoor Athletics event held here at the academy.

The leaders ran a number of events which all secondary schools in St Helens took part in. The day was excellent and the leaders, who are a credit to the whole Academy, were commended for their efforts by the event’s organiser, Damian Keegan. Damian approached me at the end of the event to ask if he could use our leaders for more competitions which are to be held in and around St Helens, which once again shows how mature, organised and hardworking young adults they are.

Well done to all our leaders we are very proud of you all.
