Cashless Catering/Lunch Menus

With effect from 5th September we have a new catering company at the Academy, ABM Catering Ltd; students will see no change to the cashless catering system but will see an enhanced improvement in the service being offered to our students, by a wide choice of meals on offer, all cooked from fresh ingredients.

The only difference will be that cheques are to be made payable to ABM Catering Ltd, but students can still pay by cash using the revaluation machines (as they currently do).  Please click on the links opposite to download a cashless catering leaflet.  Students new to the Academy will be shown how to use the cashless system on the first day of term.

ABM Catering Ltd also offer a variety of vouchers that can be used with their card to purchase a variety of meals including ‘Meals Deals’, ‘Jacket Potatoes’ and ‘Sandwiches’. It is important for your child to have an allowance on their card in order to purchase a breakfast or lunch.

New for September is the facility to have a breakfast between 8am – 8.25pm in the Upper Canteen and for the Sixth Form a ‘Costa coffee’ bar which will be open during the day.

Free School Meals

The cost of a free school meal for a child who is eligible will be increasing to £2.00 from 1st September if you think you may be eligible to receive a free school meal for your child then you should contact Education Benefits on 01744 675216 or 675217.
