Kenya Expedition Crew - October 2011
The academy waved goodbye to a group of 5 students and staff for their long journey to Kenya. The group had to raise £1,800 each over the year to pay for the trip and to support the causes they would be helping in Kenya. They stayed at Camp Tsavo on the edge of Rukinga Wildlife Sanctuary in Mombasa. During the trip they were involved in conservation work with wildlife, helping to build a classroom in a primary school and working with Mangu Village Community Women Group.
